（英訳例１）
I agree to the idea.  Two reasons could be presented. 
First of all space exploration costs too much money and human resources in vain. 
 No matter how far into the space we could reach, it does not mean a happier life 
for all human beings on the earth. The second reason is that we should use the high 
level of technology so far given to the space exploration toward something more 
creative which can contribute to the world peace. 

（英訳例２）
I disagree to the idea.
 First, though it seems useless to spend tremendous amount of money one the space 
exploration, it might be considered as a first step toward the greater progress in the future. 
Second the earth is overcrowded. Taking it into consideration, in the near future we are 
running short of the room wide enough for all of us live together. 
I think it absolute necessary to find a new space on other planets for our survival. 

○コメント

形式，内容等で昨年と大きな差はない。英文の難易度も昨年と同様である。
FaceBook関連の英文が出題されている。実際にFaceBookを自分で使っている人には答えやすかったかもしれない。
�Vの６の並べ替え問題が若干他の問題よりもレベルが高いと思われるが他は殆ど同じレベルの問題となっている。
この形式はここ数年続いているので，来年度以降は若干の変更が考えられる。
量は多いが特に答えにくい問題は少ないのでオーソドックスな勉強の「量をこなす」ことが一番の学習法だろう。

（コメント）
（一）『列子』の寓話と歌論書との融合型。（二）現代歌人の明快で力のこもった短歌論。（三）ロボットに託した、哲学者の興味深い認識論的エッセイで、昨年刊行の選書所収。
（一）は古文が諸書の引用形式で、受験生には不慣れな応用問題であったが、内容は単純で設問も難しくはなく、落ち着いて対応すれば問題はなかったはず。（二）はやや意表をつく詩歌論だったが、比喩や例歌により詠作という営みを説いており、割合に理解しやすかったであろう。設問の半分は穴埋め型で、早大の標準的な問題のケースだった。（三）代表的な哲学者の、明快で穏当な人間論で、難しい設問もなく、記述も易しいケース。
　全体的に受験生には組みしやすい出題だったと思われる、それだけに、逆にケアレスミスが怖いケースといえそう。とくに、（一）の融合型が要注意だし、（三）の読解（記述を含む）の出来がカギになったと考えられる。
